Procrastination Cost Me Years—Then I Made ₹1.5 Crores
Breaking The Hidden Glass Ceiling That Stops Us All
Published on March 11, 2025
Do you know who has bigger dreams? Neither do I. Funny, isn’t it? We want everything—money, fame, the perfect life. We dream big, but when it’s time to take action, we say, “Maybe tomorrow.” We’ve mastered the art of putting things off while picturing ourselves on top of the world.
Now, 95% of us have one thing in common: huge desires in our hearts, big goals in our minds, but we might lack money, time, or family support. We want to achieve so much, but when is it time to act? Ah, well… tomorrow!
I know this too well because I was one of those dreamers. Growing up in a middle-class family, at age 13 I had big dreams but only ₹100 a week to support them. At 14, I started taking tuition classes because, with six other kids in the house, asking my dad for extra pocket money wasn’t going to happen. He had enough on his plate!
One thing I was sure of, though—I was rebellious. I wasn’t going to beg for money. Nope! I was a self-made woman, proudly earning ₹700 a month! Yeah, that’s right, ₹700. I thought I was destined for greatness—college professor, world-famous speaker—watch out, world!
A Moment That Changed Everything (2011)
In 2011, a traumatic event changed my life forever. A few days before our school farewell, a prank gone wrong left me reeling. A bomb planted in a dustbin exploded just as I entered the classroom, leaving me numb and disoriented.
At first, everything was silent. I couldn’t hear the chaos, the shouting, the concerned voices around me. I was trapped in a world of silence, surrounded by moving lips and worried faces.
It wasn’t until I reached home that sounds began to return, and things slowly started feeling normal again. But the incident had left its mark.
It wasn’t until I reached home that sounds began to return, and things slowly started feeling normal again. But the incident had left its mark.
A visit to the ENT specialist revealed the devastating truth:
I had lost 50% of my hearing, diagnosed as partial deafness.
Ashamed and fearful of being ridiculed, I refused to use hearing aids. The constant questions and comments from those around me—
“Why can’t you hear? Are you deaf?”—only made me feel more alone and self-conscious.
As a result, I became increasingly introverted, isolating myself from the world and disconnecting from people to avoid their pity or judgment.
Instead of taking over the world, I became the queen of ‘I’ll do it later.’
Fast forward to my 20s—I had degrees, but not money. If there were a degree in procrastination, I’d have topped that too! I quit my Axis Bank job because of low self-esteem, and despite my academic accolades, I was stuck.
I found myself in network marketing, learning about leadership but avoiding closing sales because, well… self-esteem & confidence issues—again.
Oh, it was painful, and then I had the brilliant idea to get married.
I took over my husband’s back-end tasks—creating presentations, managing Google Forms, checking client orders, responding to WhatsApp groups and emails.
He got the recognition, and I got to be known as “his wife.”
Some days, I felt like sending him an invoice to pay me! But of course, I procrastinated on even that.
When my friends were earning ₹5-10 lakh per annum, I found myself asking my husband for money—a position I never liked being in. The real kicker came when we had an argument over ₹500.
Yes, a grand total of ₹500!
I was frustrated, always complaining, blaming, and arguing over the smallest things.
And then, my husband, in his infinite wisdom, suggested I “see a psychologist.”
Oh, that hurt.
I thought, “What, am I crazy? I don’t have any goals, no professional identity, and now I need a psychologist?”
I was shattered to the core.
Instead of seeking therapy, though, I did what any sensible procrastinator would do:
I enrolled in a Master’s program in Psychology.
Why?
To understand why I am the way I am!
When the Universe Calls, Answer
In 2019, I was searching for online work, hoping to find something flexible to do from home while raising my son.
One day, I stumbled upon an email from Sidz:
“Learn how to build a super-profitable business without an office or employees in 90 days.”
This was it! My golden opportunity!
Except… I didn’t sign up.
Procrastination and trust issues struck again.
So I waited.
And waited.
And waited some more.
Two years later (yes, you read that right), on March 5th, 2021, the universe finally handed me a free Silver Membership, courtesy of a Success Gyan event.
It was like destiny knocking.
This time, I was so sure.
I attended my first Hackathon session, and the next week, the Diamond Showcase.
March 28th—Diamond Showcase. It was time to go for the Diamond Lifetime deal!
So, I mustered all the courage and self-respect I had, marched up to my husband and laid it out for him—palms open, heart full.
And what did I get?
A big, fat “NO.”
He said, “Utilize Level 1 first, earn something, then spend more. You’ll get another offer.”
I insisted, tried again. And again, he said, “No.” The audacity!
But sometimes, when you truly want something, the universe tests you.
It was March 29th—the Festival of Holi, the last day for the Diamond offer. I even considered selling my gold jewelry to enroll, but all the stores were closed. I couldn’t ask my mom either because, well… I had already used her money for my psychology degree!
With the clock ticking, I was stuck.
Just as the offer window closed, I emailed Sidz, explaining my situation. I had no idea how I’d get the money, but I needed 15 more minutes. He agreed. And somehow, I scraped together the funds by borrowing a friend’s credit card.
Finally, I was in!
But remember, just signing up isn’t enough. Real effort begins here. One day, during a Leadership Council call, Sidz conducted a Slido poll:
“What’s your biggest challenge?”
Without hesitation, I entered ‘procrastination’.
And it hit me—I wasn’t alone. It was the top challenge for so many others too!
Just 24 hours later, a realization struck me—this was my niche.
So I worked on myself and launched my first program in the middle of the Hackathon for ₹1,999.
Nine people enrolled. My total earnings? ₹17,991.
At that moment, I felt like Bill Gates! 😄
With that first earning, I gifted my dad a TV while he was battling Motor Neuron Disease.
It was one of the most emotional and proud moments of my life.
That moment made me truly understand the power of setting goals, the importance of having more, and most importantly, the strength to see them through—no matter what!
Breaking Free from Procrastination
Now, with clear goals in mind, I made a decision:
✔ I would religiously follow the system.
✔ I would complete the Hackathon.
✔ I would attend TTT by Blair.
✔ I would wear my hearing aids without any fear or insecurities.
I wasn’t going to let anything hold me back—not my old habits, not my self-doubt.
But the road wasn’t easy.
There were no clients in sight.
It took three attempts to finally complete my Hackathon in January 2022, with a concrete, actionable solution to procrastination.
And the mistakes? They were mine.
❌ I wasn’t following the systems.
❌ I wasn’t running ads.
❌ I wasn’t scaling like I knew I could.
But instead of giving up, I pushed through.
I refused to let failure define me. After returning from TTT,
I was more determined than ever. And in July 2022, I launched my Facebook ads.
The Moment Everything Changed
My first seven webinars without ads? Zero sales.
Then, in my first ad-driven webinar, 27 people attended, and I made three sales.
Within three months, I had over 50 members and earned ₹4.5 lakhs.
That moment? It felt like a breakthrough.
I achieved the Hall of Fame!
One of my proudest moments was gifting my mom her very first brand-new mobile phone.
She smiled for the first time in three months since losing my dad.
She had always used our old, hand-me-down phones.
Seeing her face light up was priceless.
I knew I was on the right path.
The Magic of FBR (Freedom Business Retreat)
At my first FBR, I absorbed everything and fully surrendered to Sidz and the systems he put in place.
And then… the magic happened.
I launched my Diamond Membership for ₹1 Lakh. I expected three to four sales. But what happened?
Two sales before the showcase. Fourteen sales during the showcase.
📌 Total: ₹16 Lakhs earned.
At this point, I started delegating tasks, focusing on contributing more, refining, and revamping systems.
Slowly, the momentum built.
By my second FBR, I had made ₹30 Lakhs.
By my third FBR, that number shot up to ₹70 Lakhs.
By my fourth FBR, I became a 1 Crore Champion.
By my fifth FBR, I had hit ₹1.5 Crores.
And today, I stand here as an inspirer, looking back at that teen who was destined for greatness, knowing that she’s finally living it.
My relationship with my husband and my entire family is beautiful now.
💛 We learn together.
💛 We travel together.
💛 We earn together.
💛 We share together.
Seeing my transformation, my husband started webinars in January 2025. I’m excited for the 6th FBR, as I’ll be there with my family—my husband and my 9-year-old son—joining me on this journey. I’ve never skipped an FBR till date, and this one feels even more special.
In November 2024, after successfully completing the Incubator, I joined Quantum—a program where Sidz personally mentors a select group of about 100 people each year. Admission isn’t something money can buy; it’s earned through the incubation process, making it a privilege reserved for those truly committed to growth.
My community.
Every time they text me about:
📌 Taking their family on a trip.
📌 A 25-year-old girl supporting her father financially.
📌 A guy who struggled for two years finally landing a job.
📌 A woman who once felt stuck now feeling empowered.
That’s when I know:
💡 It’s all worth it.
“When you put procrastination aside and serve, it changes lives.”
A Trip That Changed Everything
In March 2024 – We went on vacation. It was my mom & mom-in-law’s first-ever flight. We traveled to Jammu & Kashmir—my mom’s childhood dream destination. Seeing their joy, that sense of fulfillment in my eyes and my husband’s—It was indescribable!
These moments. These milestones.
I miss my father. Time once gone never returns. Some delays can never be fixed.
So take action today!
Think Big And The Universe Will Respond
When you think small, you’re telling the universe: You deserve small.
But when you think big, when you dare to dream beyond your limits: The universe will rise to meet you.
Achieving the Crore Champion milestone helped me realize not just what I truly deserved, but also what my audience deserves, a lesson that became clear only after I crossed my first crore.
I Took My Pain And Turned It Into Strength
Here’s how:
✔ Being a chronic procrastinator actually shaped who I am today.
✔ Not having money when I needed it most taught me that money is an emotional concept—it’s about how you relate to it.
✔ Getting scammed in online courses & Facebook ads taught me the importance of having a value system at the core of my business.
Quitting Is Necessary: But You Have To Know What To Quit
Even after finding Sidz and gaining so much, I made my share of mistakes. Here are three blunders I committed on my way to being a Crore Champion:
1. I wanted instant results before fully grasping the process in my first Freedom Finisher attempt.
2. I kept adjusting the system to fit my ideas, thinking I could speed up success by doing things my way.
3. I focused too much on doing things ‘perfectly’, which delayed my progress by almost a year.
(I joined ILH in 2021 and completed FF only in 2022.)
The Secret? Keep Showing Up.
Despite the setbacks, despite the account blocks, the mistakes, and the doubts—I never gave up!
And that’s the key:
✔ To keep showing up.
✔ To take action, without using your brains. (Sidz has already carved a proven path for us.)
✔ To trust the process, even when results don’t come instantly.
That’s how I know I’m moving forward toward my next goal: ₹10 Crore Champion.
With Sidz, ILH, and the systems in place, I’m just getting started, and trust me, there’s so much more ahead in Sidz’s treasure for us. 🙏 THANK YOU!
