How One Decision Turned My Struggles into a Multi-Crore Success

On August 31st, 2023, I faced the toughest decision of my life: to leave behind a decade-long career in Talent Acquisition. For ten years, I had thrived in the field, helping numerous corporations find their perfect talent matches.
At 35, the future seemed bright, and I was at the peak of my career. But deep down, there was a dream that had been quietly burning for years—the dream of starting my own business.
I thought to myself, “Is this really the right time? Am I making a mistake?” Despite the fears and doubts, I knew this dream couldn’t wait any longer. So, I leaped into the unknown and launched Recruit Plus, a consultancy aimed at delivering top-tier recruitment services. I poured my heart, soul, and savings into it, convinced that my experience would steer the ship to success.
But life had a twist waiting for me. Just as I was starting to find my rhythm, the COVID-19 pandemic struck. The world of hiring came to an abrupt halt. In a matter of weeks, the carefully laid plans for Recruit Plus began to crumble before my eyes.
“How could everything fall apart so quickly?” I kept asking myself as each day passed with no business coming in.
April turned into May, May into June, and soon, July was gone too. Every day, I felt myself sinking further into despair. My savings were drying up, and my business felt like a financial burden that was pulling me under. Is this how it ends? I thought. The cash flow was gone, and the weight of hopelessness pressed down on me.
But then came Monday, August 24th, 2020—a day that began in despair but ended with what felt like a miracle. That morning, I stumbled across a random webinar: “How to Turn Your Knowledge into a Profitable Business from the Comfort of Your Home.” I almost ignored it, thinking it was another empty promise. But something inside me—a mix of desperation and curiosity—nudged me to join.
As the speaker began talking, I found myself nodding along. His words resonated deeply. “Is this the answer I’ve been looking for?” I wondered.
Then came the pivotal moment—a 15-minute timer flashed on the screen, urging attendees to buy a Silver Membership. I stared at my debit card, completely empty, and a sinking feeling hit me.
“I can’t afford this,” I thought. But then I remembered my credit card, the one I rarely touched, with a 2-lakh limit. “What if this is my last chance?” I swiped it, not fully knowing what I was diving into, but something inside told me it was the right move.
The following weeks were a whirlwind. I threw myself into the mentorship program and, before long, upgraded to the Diamond Membership. But every day was a struggle. I saw other coaches generating huge revenues while I struggled to grasp the basics—setting up systems, hosting webinars, generating leads, building a community, and mastering automation. “Why is it so much harder for me?” I often asked myself.
Every time my wife asked about our finances, I could feel the pressure mounting. “What am I doing to my family?” I questioned as my savings continued to dwindle. But something inside me refused to let go. I knew that quitting wasn’t an option. Even when everything seemed to be falling apart, I clung to the belief that something good would come of this.
To be honest, the financial strain was unbearable. I had drained every rupee in my savings over the last six months. There were days when I was staring at a near-empty bank account, with only a few thousand rupees left. I even applied for the Government of India’s moratorium on housing loans because I could no longer pay my EMIs. “This can’t be the end,” I kept telling myself. “There has to be an opportunity coming my way.”
It wasn’t until nearly a year later that things began to shift. I found my “why”—my deeper purpose. I realized that my true mission was to serve Marathi working professionals, to help them transform their lives just as I was transforming mine. With that clarity, I began to close high-ticket sales—₹100,000 per client.But it wasn’t just about the money. “This is what I was meant to do,” I thought. Helping people change their lives gave me a sense of fulfillment that I had never experienced before.
Today, I have guided over 1,500 Level 1 Members and more than 40 L3 Members. In just three years, I’ve crossed the 1-crore revenue mark—a number that felt impossible not too long ago. “Is this really happening?” I often wonder. I run my business without a team, driven purely by my passion and dedication to serving my community.
It all started with one decision, one leap of faith that transformed my struggles into success.

  6. Believing in Process and Efforts: I held onto the belief that my efforts would eventually bear fruit.
  7. Focusing on Community Over Money: My success grew exponentially when I shifted my focus from profit to service.
  8. Finding My Bigger Why: Understanding my purpose gave me the strength to keep pushing forward.
  9. Associating with a Powerful Environment: The right mentors, peers, and surroundings were crucial to my success.
  10. Tracking Data and Making Decisions Based on Numbers: I learned to rely on data, not just intuition, to steer my business.
These principles became the foundation of my growth, guiding me through the toughest moments and helping me build something bigger than I ever imagined.
Today, as I sit down to reflect, I’m overwhelmed with a sense of deep gratitude. Gratitude for every challenge that pushed me, for my mentor, Sidz, whose wisdom illuminated the path when everything seemed dark, and for the systems that transformed me from a struggling entrepreneur into a proud Crore Champion.
The road wasn’t easy—sleepless nights, financial worries, and the constant fear of failure marked every step. But looking back, every hardship, every risk, and every moment of doubt was worth it.
This is my story—a story of transformation, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of a dream. And if there’s one message I want to leave with you, it’s this: “No matter how tough the journey gets, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to keep moving forward.”
