Highlights

After 25+ years in the software world, Prem pivoted to health coaching when a personal health scare in 2011 forced him to rethink everything—he chose food over lifelong meds.

By discovering the power of “right food, right time,” he reversed critical conditions and set out to help others avoid unnecessary surgeries and reclaim their health naturally.

Joined ILH during the pandemic, where the Hackathon and Sidz’s hands-on mentoring helped him launch his coaching business online with clarity and conviction.

He created 70+ long-form videos, built a list of 4,000+ leads, and helped over 250 students avoid surgery and transform their health with lifestyle changes.

Prem’s mission is simple but powerful: measure success not by money, but by how many lives you help rebuild—one decision, one meal, one breath at a time.

Helping 250 Students Avoid Surgery

My Path to ₹1.4 Crore

The Real Success Behind My 70 Videos

In early 2019, I found myself at a crossroads. For over 25 years, I’d dedicated myself to growing and training software teams across various geographies. It was a journey that demanded much of my time and energy. With elderly parents now needing more attention and my son’s critical board exams approaching, I realized it was time to consider starting something of my own.

I always had a knack for coaching, and I knew that understanding how each person learns differently was a key skill. This realization became even more pertinent when I reflected on a pivotal moment in my life back in 2011.

Back in 2011, I was in a high-pressure position, representing the largest outsourced team for a U.S. firm. Suddenly, my health began to deteriorate. Immense pain in my thighs plagued me even if I sat for just 10 minutes, and I started gaining weight in all the wrong places. Like many, I dismissed these symptoms as stress or lack of sleep and put off addressing them for months.

Eventually, when things didn’t improve, I faced my fear and visited the hospital. A blood test revealed that my cholesterol was three times over the critical range. The shock was compounded by a prescription for over 15 medications, some of which I would have to take for life. I remember asking myself, “Why is this happening to me?” The doctors attributed it to heredity, but I wasn’t convinced. Many in my family had lived past 100 without these issues. Thus began my journey to health — a story in itself.

After trying every kind of exercise, concoction, and therapy, I discovered that simply eating the right food at the right time was the key to my recovery. I looked and felt better than ever. This experience made me realize that many people, when faced with similar health issues, might simply rely on medication, putting the problem on hold. I wanted to offer them a different path.

Determined to make health coaching my new focus, I knew I needed to learn how to coach large audiences. As luck would have it, Blair Singer’s “Train the Trainer” program came up. The insights I gained allowed me to script an entire two-day session. The next step was promotion, but then the pandemic hit — a spanner in the works.

I considered taking my coaching online but didn’t know where to start. Some internet searches led me to a promising webinar with ILH. The webinar offered practical steps to setting up a digital coaching business. I was convinced and wanted to sign up even before it ended.

The highlight was a Hackathon and a speed track that put all the learning into action — an area where most coaching programs fail. The ILH community was supportive and energetic, inspiring me to do more. I also learned the importance of professional design and copywriting in gaining credibility.

My niche isn’t the easiest, as it requires determination, much like the months it took me to get a checkup. Nonetheless, I reminded myself that if I could help even one person turn their life around, it would be worth it. Sidz, from ILH, was instrumental in helping me pitch ad copy and landing page content. He never gave up on me, even when I was on the verge of doing so.

The world changes every day, and ILH’s continuous contact sessions and updated course content helped me keep up. Success can be measured in many ways besides earnings. As of today, I have 70 long-form videos, 4,000 leads, and 250 students. Many of them have avoided surgery and reversed critical health issues.

Through this journey, I discovered that true success lies in the lives you touch and the positive changes you inspire in others.
